For those of you who haven't played the game Portal, I pity you. It is fantabulous. Let me explain a bit about how portals work.

1. If you jump in a portal facing one way, you will come out of the portal the same way.
2. If your exit portal is facing a different direction... say, up... gravity will still pull you in a downward direction.. (see example above as demonstrated by Rave)
3. Go play portal. It's fun-tastic
